DROPS Daisy is a soft, non superwash treated yarn, spun from 100% extra fine merino wool. The wool fibers used in this yarn are untreated, which means that they are only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing. This enhances the wool's natural qualities, allowing the fibers to breathe better and providing better shape stability and texture quality. Made from 4 strands spun together, which give the yarn extra elasticity, DROPS Daisy results in nicely defined stitches, being especially suitable for cable, structure and moss patterns. This yarn’s special construction also makes it extra important to treat the garment right: make sure that you knit with the correct tension - so use a tight tension rather than a loose one and follow the care instructions. As in all Drops merino yarns, the merino wool for DROPS Daisy originates from free-range, mulesing-free animals from South America.

This yarn has an Oeko-Tex® certification (certificate number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II from the Hohenstein Institute. This means that is has been tested for harmful substances and is considered safe in human-ecological terms. Class II means the yarn is suitable to come in direct contact with the skin to a large extent, such as blouses, shirts, mattresses, etc.
How do I care for this yarn?
Follow the washing instructions provided on the yarn label and in the shade card for the yarn.
Wash merino wool by hand in 30ºC.
If necessary, use a gentle centrifugation program that DOES NOT take in water.
Wash separately, using lots of water.
Use a small amount of wool detergent (without enzymes and optical brighteners).
NEVER use fabric softener (the wool fibers become too soft and can slide apart).
NEVER leave to soak!
NEVER leave garments wet in the washing machine for a long period of time!
NEVER hang to dry, instead dry the garments shaped on a flat surface.

All domestic orders take 1 to 2 business days to process prior to shipping from our warehouse (located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria), regardless of the selected shipping method. Shipping within Europe usually takes 3 to 5 working days. For shipment outside of Europe count to 7 working days (excluding Customs clearance).
The shipping costs are calculated based on the parcel weight including packaging. The rate is displayed in your shopping cart and during check out.
We provide tracking number for all shipments. This will let you track the location of your purchase.
